LİYAKAT Association; SED (Association of Insurance Experts) Aegean Region Representative and DEÜ İMYO (Dokuz Eylül University İzmir Vocational School) project partnership, Dokuz Eylül University Continuing Education Center (DESEM) supported, 100% employment guaranteed Land Vehicles branch - Insurance Expert Reporting Project for 2017 has been carried out. After the application, interview and theoretical + practical trainings carried out by expert insurance experts in the field for 6 weeks at DESEM, the project was successfully completed after the certificates were given to the candidates who were successful in the proficiency exam and finally their job placements were carried out.
Stating that contributing to economic development, especially entrepreneurship, is among LİYAKAT's priority goals, Board Chairman Berkay ESKİNAZİ spoke at the press conference held at Kaya Thermal Hotel and said, 'During the projects we have carried out, we have seen that one of the biggest problems experienced in our rapidly changing world is unemployment. The unemployment rate of our youth, especially those who graduated from university or vocational high schools, is increasing day by day. According to the latest ‘Youth Survey’ conducted by the International Labor Organization, one quarter of the world consists of young people between the ages of 15-29. And global youth unemployment has increased in the last three years. The global youth unemployment rate is 13.1%, young people who are poor despite working are 37.7%, and young people who want to migrate from their country have reached 20%. And as of 2016, there are 71 million unemployed youth in the world. With all these figures, unfortunately, the average time it takes for a young person to graduate to find a job is 19 months. We know that even without all these studies, the biggest problem experienced by young people in our city, country and world is to find a job and stand on their own two feet. As the LİYAKAT association, we are setting out from here and are realizing a first together with our project partners in this field as a result of months of work in order to be able to solve the problems of our city and country.’
