Since its establishment, LİYAKAT Association, which has been providing services to socio-cultural infrastructures, has planned to contribute to young people and women by carrying out projects that are completely service-oriented and in line with its current service and responsibility position within the framework of its own goals and opportunities created within the awareness of social responsibility.
LİYAKAT Association, which touches women from all segments of society with its projects developed especially for women's participation in the entrepreneurship ecosystem; this time, it aimed to support the SAĞKAL - Health and Quality Association Umut Atölyesi Evleri project based on the main idea of 'Life is a whole and illness is also a part of it like health and every woman should be able to exist in every area of life despite everything'.
Unfortunately, women who have a say in every area of life can be away from life during the treatment period when they get sick and especially when this disease is cancer. In addition to the psychological difficulties brought by the disease, women with insufficient financial situation face this problem and have to struggle in different areas.
Since some women who feel lonely during treatment and have to live away from home, in a city they do not know or are unfamiliar with, due to financial difficulties during radiotherapy, refuse and quit treatment, SAĞKAL Association has established the HOPE Workshop, which is a completely voluntary activity that will eliminate the psychosocial traumas of women diagnosed with breast cancer during and after treatment, and ensure that they are involved in life and feel ‘existent’.
The second step of the Hope Workshop, the Hope Workshop Houses, aims to establish a living center for women who come from out of town and have no one to help them during breast cancer radiotherapy treatment.
