The Leader Creative Participants Association (LİYAKAT) is preparing to undertake a social responsibility project that will start in İzmir and spread to all of Turkey. The project, which will be implemented under the name “We are half without you, we are complete together”, aims to raise awareness for both the visually impaired and individuals with Down syndrome. Taking action to remove obstacles, LİYAKAT is preparing to undertake a very special project in collaboration with Özemeksan, She PR&Creative, Roteks, Batı Plus Tekstil and Tepecik Symphony Orchestra. The income of the project will be donated to the Turkish Library for the Visually Impaired (TÜRGÖK). Within the scope of the project, young people with Down syndrome will take the stage for their visually impaired friends.
Stating that the concert, which will be the first step of the campaign, will be the dance shows of young people with Down syndrome, as well as the performances of the Tepecik Symphony Orchestra and surprise artists, LİYAKAT Board Chairman Berkay Eskinazi said, “The entire support that will be generated with your contributions in the event we will hold will be donated to TÜRGÖK on your behalf. But our support will not be limited to this. We will spread this campaign to all of Turkey with the contributions of famous names who have managed to gain a place in the hearts of our people. Throughout the campaign, all of your support will be given to TÜRGÖK on your behalf and will be used to purchase books written in Braille alphabet that will enlighten the minds of our visually impaired youth,” he said, inviting all people of İzmir to watch the concert.
